Pari Ravan (born March 8, 1942, Iran) is an Iranian-German-French artist. == Biography==
Pari Ravan was born on March 8, 1942 in Abadan, Iran, where she won at the age of 14 years, her first art award at a youth competition. She graduated as a master student of Prof. Sadeghpoor at the University of Fine Arts in Tehran. With 17 years Pari Ravan moved to Germany. She attended the School of Applied Arts in Mainz. From 1975 to 1979 she was a student of Baruch Elron, the major Israeli painter of fantasy surrealism. Pari Ravan paints in oil, in the technique of the Old masters of the art. Her style is referred to as a romantic surrealism. So far, she has won numerous international art awards (Iran, Germany, Italy, France, Japan, China) and her works have been shown at various international exhibitions (Germany, USA, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium, Italy, France, Austria, Japan, China). Her paintings, frescoes and sculptures can be found such as museums and famous art collections in the world, as well as privately owned. The artist lives and works in southern France.
